Maintain is a multi-user, web based management tool for DNS and DHCP. Maintain is entirely written using PHP and a MySQL database backend.

Maintain was developed by Oregon State University's Open Source Lab to provide a central management interface for the entire campus network. It is used every day by numerous network administrators at OSU and in many other places with medium to large scale computer networks.

Maintain was written in an entirely modular manner that makes it easily extensible. Due to its open source license (GNU GPL), it can be freely modified to serve all your network management needs.

Take a look at screenshots of Maintain. You can also learn more about Maintain and why it was developed on the about page.

If you want to contribute to the Maintain project, write a module, file a bug or similar, click here to learn how to get involved!

Maintain 3 will soon be on its way 6/15/06

Maintain 3, completely re-written and now 100% PHP, is in its testing phase and will be coming up soon.

If you want to take a look at the source code or even do some tests on your systems, feel free to fetch the current development version from the OSUOSL Subversion repository.

Until the release, please stay tuned and feel free to ask questions about the new release. We are also interested to hear who is using an older version of Maintain (2.4, presumably) right now and will be interested in upgrading to the new version.

For all of your questions, requests etc. feel free to drop a line here in the forums, on the mailinglist or in our IRC channel.

We'll be happy to hear from you.
