Maintain 3.0.0 RC3 Release Notes

The Maintain team is proud to release Maintain's third release candidate.

The powerful DHCP and DNS management software has undergone constant testing since the last RC and a few minor bugs were found and could be closed. Thanks to all the people who helped finding and fixing them!

A complete list of changes can be found in the CHANGELOG file (boring).

Major fixes in RC3:

• The installer has been fixed. Any issues regarding installation/upgrade have been heavily tested and fixed. The previous updater security remains; however, it is recommended that you take the server offline when upgrading from 2.4 or installing due to the inability to authenticate with a 3.0 database.
• Installer security has been improved. When upgrading a 3.0 or higher database to a newer database version an admin account is now required.
• Several minor bug fixes.
