Maintain is a multi-user, web based management tool for DNS and DHCP. Maintain is entirely written using PHP and a MySQL database backend.
Maintain was developed by Oregon State University's Open Source Lab to provide a central management interface for the entire campus network. It is used every day by numerous network administrators at OSU and in many other places with medium to large scale computer networks.
Maintain was written in an entirely modular manner that makes it easily extensible. Due to its open source license (GNU GPL), it can be freely modified to serve all your network management needs.
Take a look at screenshots of Maintain. You can also learn more about Maintain and why it was developed on the about page.
If you want to contribute to the Maintain project, write a module, file a bug or similar, click here to learn how to get involved!

Maintain 3 Nightly SVN Snapshots Available 5/18/07
Maintain newsStarting today, you can not only download the current development tree of Maintain from its SVN repository, but we also provide nightly source code snapshots.
If you happen not to be able to use Subversion, you can thus download a nightly snapshot from the Maintain download page instead.
These downloads are still experimental and might not work yet the way you want them to. Please don't use them in a production environment.
If you find any bugs in Maintain (on your own machine), please let us know! Also, if you have any questions / comments / concerns, feel free to drop a line in the forums.

New Demo Coming Soon! 5/24/06
Maintain newsThere is going to be a new demo going up soon so people can test drive the latest version of Maintain, Maintain 3. Maintain 3 is still under development and is nearing the testing phase before release. As we approach this point we want to be able to give the community a sneak peek as to what they can expect in terms of our new user interface, as well as give the community a chance to help us squash some unseen UI bugs. We'll keep you posted!
Maintain project gets a new home 5/22/06
Maintain newsThe Maintain project has now arrived here to its new home. Since the Maintain's beginning, the project has lived buried in the OSU Open Source Lab website. Maintain's growing community, popularity, and ongoing development have brought the project to its own piece of the web. Breaking the project into its own website will provide room to grow, a better presentation for the Maintain community, independence and attention in the open source world, and much more.
